Full Biography:
Erica Lukes’ passion for the subject of Unidentified Flying Objects dates back to her early childhood. After a series of personal UFO sightings in 2013, however, Erica felt compelled to find out what was taking place in her home state of Utah. She decided to take an active role in the UFO subject and, as a result, joined MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network.

Such are Erica’s skills in the field of Ufology, she quickly went from being a MUFON Field Investigator to the Utah State Director for MUFON. She soon took on the role of Associate Producer for the MUFON Communications Team. Erica is also a part of the MUFON Experiencer Research Team. Erica’s efforts led her to being officially recognized as “MUFON Volunteer of the Year,” in both 2014 and 2015. She now serves as the Communications Director for the International Association of UAP Researchers.

As her busy schedule increased, Erica chose to resign her post as MUFON State Director. Today, she is the head of UNEXPLANED UTAH , an organization which is focused upon scientifically researching UAP – otherwise known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Erica works with other UFO-based organizations, too, and on a global level, no less. She is driven to not only broaden public awareness of UAP, but also to develop research protocols that can be utilized by other organizations and to streamline the research process. Erica strongly believes it is imperative that UFO organizations work together to share information.

Erica is the team-leader on a research program called “Project Orange.” This project is specifically dedicated to studying sightings and clusters of orange/red orbs (which are also known as fireballs). On this particular project, she works with several MUFON Field Investigators: Robert Spearing, Terry Ray and Geoff Cox. Their protocols and findings are now an integral part of MUFON Education, an accomplishment they are all extremely proud of.

Both Utah’s famous Skinwalker Ranch and its surrounding areas have held a strong, and lasting, interest for Erica. She has collected decades’ worth of case reports from this area, and particularly so with regards to mass sightings of UFOs, as well as mysterious mutilations of animals, and alien abductions.

Erica is an artist, as well as an accomplished, recognized, professional singer. She has been the lead-vocalist for many of Utah’s top bands. She also performed at the 2002 Winter Olympics. In addition, Erica has taken part in voice-over productions, and she has worked in the fields of radio and television, too. Erica’s innate ability to put others at ease, combined with a powerful stage presence, has helped her to positively influence those who come into contact with her, or those who tune into her regular broadcasts.

Erica has been a guest on numerous radio-based talk-shows, including The Richard Dolan Show; Ground Zero, with Clyde Lewis; Open Minds; Fringe Radio; The Martin Willis Show; Truth Theorem Radio; and the Paracast. Erica has also guest-hosted MUFON Radio. Erica’s speaking engagements include the 2016 Starworks Symposium. She will also be appearing on two major, new television series in the near future.

Media Appearances: Erica will be featured on two new television shows and was a guest on George Noory's "Beyond Belief".

She appeared in a new Canadian documetary and has appeared as a guest on The Richard Dolan Show, Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis, Open Minds, T3cerMillenio.TV, Fringe Radio, The Martin Willis Show, Truth Theorum Radio, The Paracast and a guest host for MUFON Radio.

Erling Strand | The Hessdalen Light Phenomena

Source: redicecreations.com, hessdalen.org

December 12, 2010
For generations mysterious lights have been observed in the remote valley of Hessdalen in Norway. Different types of lights and crafts have been witnessed at various altitudes and at different speeds. The phenomena has been reported to be as large as a house to as small as a soccerball. Lights have been seen hovering for hours and sometimes performing breakneck maneuvers at incredible speeds. Both Norwegian and international researchers have been involved in trying to reveal the true nature of this mystery. There are many theories, from unknown natural energy phenomena to extra-terrestrial visitors. We have Erling Strand with us from the Department of Information Technology at Østfold University College in Norway to talk about his long time investigation and studying of the phenomena. He is a civil engineer from the University of Trondheim and studied electrical engineering with specialized physical electronics and telecommunications. He is one of the founders of what is called “Project Hessdalen” and now leader of the project that has been dedicated to studying this light phenomena. Erling is also the European representative of the Society for Scientific Exploration. Stay with us for an exciting two hours as we explore the many different theories and angles of the Hessdalen light phenomena. Topics Discussed: the Hessdalen automatic measurement station, "Project Hessdalen", unidentified flying objects, Trondheim, light phenomena, automatic instruments, electro magnetic instruments, theories about the lights, different types of lights, sightings, lights observed around the world, geology and minerals, earthquake lights, ball lightning, plasma discharge and the piezoelectric effect. ~Red Ice Creations

The Hessdalen Light Phenomenon

Here is a great recent documentary called ‘The Portal: The Hessdalen Light Phenomenon’ [2009] explains the latest scientific research and conclusions about the light phenomena seen in the remote Norwegian valley of Hessdalen.

This is the same Light Phenomenon (Orbs Of Light) showing up worldwide right now over Lake Erie, Texas, The UK, Pheonix, Mexico, California, Etc.

Background information:

Hessdalen is a small valley in the central part of Norway. At the end of 1981 through 1984, residents of the Valley became concerned and alarmed about strange, unexplained lights that appeared at many locations throughout the Valley. Hundreds of lights were observed. At the peak of activity there were about 20 reports a week.

Project Hessdalen was established in the summer of 1983. A field investigation was carried out between 21.January and 26.February 1984. Fifty-three light observations were made during the field investigation. Assistant professor Erling Strand, the founder of the Hessdalen project, conducted together with the author the first international congress of the Hessdalen phenomena in 1994. This congress attracted scientists from all over the world and boosted the scientific research in Hessdalen.

Statements from the congress indicated that explanation of the phenomena could lead to new concepts in physics. This congress also started the collaboration between Østfold University College in Norway and CNR in Italy. Together with Dr. Stelio Montebugnoli the author started the EMBLA project, with the purpose of studying the electromagnetic radiation and behavior of the Hessdalen phenomena in 1999. Lights are still being observed in the Hessdalen Valley, but their frequency has decreased to about 20 observations a year.

The following is the conclusions from over 25 years of research and after Italian SETI scientists got involved with much more highly sophisticated equipment.
